Робота: Intermediate IT DevOps Engineer MS

SoftServe is looking for an experienced Intermediate IT DevOps Engineer MS to join our professional team.

Job Purpose
IT DevOps Engineer responsible for defining the technical roadmap of the internal project teams and providing a single point of contact for providing IT services. The role requires excellent communication skills to influence the decisions of technical leaders and provide clear status reporting to management, combined with strong technical skills to provide guidance and mentoring to internal project teams.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Assist in design, planning and implementation of corporate services
• Perform Configuration Management for projects working on all required stages of project development ensuring proper functioning of required software and hardware.
• Controls transition, release and change management on internal projects
• Set up local project IT environments: creating virtual machines, deploying project servers, configure project-specific software for test purposes, etc.
• Serve as escalation point for requests related to IT services from project teams.
• Maintain technical specifications and supplementary project documentation in compliance with the changes in the system or its environment

Education:
• Master degree in Computer Science or similar

Experience:
• 3 years experience in administrating Microsoft operational systems and applications

Specialized knowledge:
• MS Windows Servers administration
• MS SQL Server administration
• Active Directory administration
• Knowledge in centralizing monitoring systems (MS SCOM, Nagios,…) products (Desirable)
• Knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, …) (Desirable)
• Knowledge in Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence, ….) (Desirable)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (PowerShell, VBS) (Desirable)
• Understanding of software development company functioning (Desirable)

• English intermediate low level or higher

Professional Certification:
• MCP, MCSA (Desirable)
