Робота: Senior DevOps Engineer (Configuration Manager)

SoftServe is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (Configuration Manager) to join our professional team.
Job Purpose
We are looking for System Administrator with software development experience and/or who want to become a software engineer. Software engineers with relevant experience is great match too.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Working under the direction of the staff to perform daily commits of changes to monitoring infrastructure and configuration
• Developing new monitors for services and applications run by Hosted Services
• Support production operations and resolve requests for changes and fixing malfunctioning monitors
• Investigate issues with monitoring reported by production operations
• On-call support rotation
• Due diligence on new tools and solutions
• Document requests for change and fixing malfunctioning systems and reports
• Experience:
• 4+ years working with Windows systems, including system administration skills
• 3+ years of experience with MySql or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in developing tools and scripting in Python and Perl
• Web UI development experience is a plus
• Experience with Exchange is a plus
Specialized Knowledge:
• The candidate may be required to fulfill on-call duties
• Understanding SNMP, SMTP, XML, HTTP, TCP protocols is required.
• Understanding of DNS, LDAP and networking essentials is recommended.
• Knowledge of Django and Java is a plus
• VMWare experience is a plus
• Cacti and/or Nagios experience is desired.
• Experience in designing and delivering monitoring solutions is a plus.
