We search for SharePoint Technology Consultant with strong knowledge and working experience in:

Job Purpose

Provide consulting to Production Team/Delivery and consulting projects execution related to SharePoint technologies (configuration, portals, ECM, DMS, integration). Develop technical excellence in MS SharePoint related technologies. Lead implementation projects and coach engineering teams.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessment of client needs and IT infrastructure state of SharePoint setup
• Planning and setup of SharePoint farms according to best practices for security, scalability and performance
• Configuring enterprise SharePoint portals, implementation of workflows, web parts, custom features, branding
• Integration of SharePoint applications with legacy systems
• Porting legacy LOB applications to SharePoint platform
• Deployment (manual and automated) of SharePoint custom features and packages
• Ensuring the integrity and security of SharePoint data regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
• Integration of SharePoint with other related products such as Project Server and TFS
• Technology evaluation, prototyping and software re-engineering/transformation research
• Participate in technology pre-sale activities (on-site and off-shore)
• Project management in a full cycle of consulting and development projects
• Drive technology consulting activities on initial project phases, gather client requirements and understand client business needs
• Develop, present and maintain technology strategy and solution architectures for enterprise business clients
• Calculate and clearly communicate business values for clients
• Develop and execute trainings for end-users
• Keep track on evolution of SharePoint platform and related enterprise technologies trends


Experience:

• Deep industrial experience in Enterprise technologies
• Enterprise System Integrator experience for Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, Project Server, TFS)
• Understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010 architecture, experience in configuring and administering a SharePoint environment
• Knowledge of InfoPath Forms
• Understanding of SharePoint BI tools – Performance Point, Excel Services, Power Pivot, Reporting Services Integration
• At least 3 years software development experience and strong knowledge of C#, .Net,
ASP.NET and SQL Server technologies.
• Experience with WCF, WPF, ASP.NET MVC and Silverlight (desirable)
• Understanding of Active Directory, IIS, Kerberos Security Architecture, Power Shell, STSADM and Central Admin functionality
• Migration from SharePoint 2003/2007 to SharePoint 2010/2013 (desirable)
• Understanding of ALM practices (desirable)
• Understanding of SDLC specifics for SharePoint projects

Education:

• Master degree in Computer Science or similar
• Business, marketing, management education (Desirable)

Specialized knowledge:

• Understanding of enterprise level technologies and methodologies
• Understanding of world IT markets and technologies trends
• Understanding of technologies and software engineering paradigms
• Understanding of general management and research project management
