We search for Operations Manager with strong knowledge and working experience in:

Job Purpose

Serves information processing by planning, organizing, and evaluating IT operations; managing staff for operational tasks

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain operational plans including:
- Monitoring services plan
- Staff plan
- Education plan
• Coordinate Infrastructure&Operations team operational tasks: schedule and assign tasks to subordinates in accordance with workload, track the progress and provide feedback
• Coordinate and audit monitoring of corporate services
• Coordinate and audit proper functioning of services based on monitoring system
• Develop and improve services metrics (availability, reachability, etc)
• Coordinate and audit requests related to Infrastructure team from customers received by corporate Service Desk system
• Coordinate operational tasks between Infrastructure&Operations team directions
• Help team members in understanding IT processes
• Coordinate and audit all documentation activity related to operational tasks
• Track new trends, products, practices and tools in the industry and apply them to
• improve operational tasks
• Coordinate and audit implementation industry standards in Operations team
• Coordinate and audit maintenance Infrastructure&Operations team knowledge base

Education:

• Master degree in Computer Science or similar

Specialized knowledge:

• Knowledge in IT service lifecycle
• Basic knowledge in different IT infrastructure areas (networking, telephony, OSes, Microsoft products)
• Knowledge of industry recognized operational patterns
• Expert knowledge in centralizing monitoring systems (MS SCOM, Nagios,…)
• ITIL model knowledge
• Understanding of software development company functioning (Desirable)
