Requirements:
• Strong QA and testing experience (at least 2+ years);
• Knowledge of software quality assurance techniques and methodologies;
• Good communication and report writing skills;
• Ability to communicate issues to technical audience;
• Experience of working on multiple projects;
• Experience of working with remote teams;
• Ability to work within tight deadlines;
• Ability to learn quickly;
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems;
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL (Oracle – an advantage);
• Familiarity with SOA and Web Services will be an advantage;
• Team player attitude;
• Good written and spoken English.
Responsibilities:
• Manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, UI and acceptance testing;
• Reviewing and analyzing requirements and functional specifications;
• Writing test cases;
• Participation in the development of quality assurance strategy within the team;
• Defect tracking and reporting using IBM Rational ClearQuest;
• Working with product management, system architects and developers to define test coverage and improve product quality;
• Analyzing and reporting the test results;
• Analyzing failures, suggesting corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints
