Your tasks:

As an architect and designer your are

• Supporting the development of visions for the storage and data backup and recovery in future;
• Supporting and preparing decision bases for the strategy definitions for the storage and data backup environment;
• Preparing implementation, migration and integration concepts;
• Defining processes and procedures for the storage and data backup capacity management;
• Preparing data backup and recovery concepts;
• Leading the implementation of these concepts;
• Establishing monitoring procedures and processes with the operation team;
• Implementation of the capacity management concept;




Your profile:

• You have an appropriate education and trainings in IT and IT storage and backup solutions.
• You are experienced in the service operation and delivery in the IT storage and data backup area in mid to high-end data centre environments several years.
• You have knowledge in NAS- and SAN architectures, of protocols CIFS, NFS, iSCSI and Fibre channel , and also with modern storage-backup und archive solutions.
• You are experienced with the conception, planning and implementation of storage and archive solutions.
• You have knowledge and experience with enterprise / data centre computing, client / server-architectures or high availability solutions, server virtualisation (VMWare ESX), networks and operating systems.
• You have good knowledge about ITIL.
• You have very good knowledge in English.
