Employee Relations
• Help maintain a positive employee relations environment and support the Company’s Open Door policy
• Work with the Director of Operations in implementing and executing proactive employee relations initiatives
• Counsel employees and managers in the resolution of work-related problems and disputes
• Investigate/analyze legal issues and processes in order to provide policy guidance and information to management and employees
• Conduct investigations into allegations of discrimination or harassment; make recommendations based on findings
• Guide Store Directors in handling employee terminations
• Manage the performance management program and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans
• Communicate and ensure compliance and understanding by employees of laws, regulations and organizational policies and procedures
• Answer questions by managers and employees as needed
