Our client is among the world's leading manufacturers of metal and rubber construction components in its field. Roughly 3,500 employees and around 1 billion € in annual sales, with production facilities in every continent and an especially successful record in Eastern Europe, make this company a very attractive employer to work for.

As part of its international succession planning the company is currently hiring a Controller for its Ukrainian head office in Kiev. The Ukrainian subsidiary comprises three legal entities with a total of around 80 employees, including a manufacturing facility, plus several logistic centers and sales offices throughout the country.

Position

Reporting directly to the CFO of the country and in a dotted line to the controlling department at headquarters, the position requires a true "allrounder" in its field. As such you will be handling all aspects of financial planning, reporting and cost controlling in the Ukraine. With the first 12 to 18 months being spent at headquarters in Germany, this exciting position will later be located in Kiev, comprising in detail:

* regular financial planning and budgeting activities,

* monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on P&L, balance, cash flow, etc.

* analysis and regular plant controlling of production and supply chain processes,

* additional activities like variance analyses, preparation and controlling of capital investments, the development of performance measurement systems, etc..


Qualification

For this versatile position our client expects a high level university degree in Management / Finance plus at least 4 years of relevant experience in an international company. A background both in financial reporting and cost controlling is important for the required tasks. Additional skills in financial analysis and planning would be very helpful.

As a person, you work systematically, in a structured and dependable manner. In addition to your financial know-how, you possess high social competencies and you enjoy interacting with different people at all levels and departments in a manufacturing environment.

For this position you should speak English at a high level and preferably also German as a third language. A sound background in SAP FI/CO or Navision is also required.
