SoftServe is looking for an experienced Abiliton Project Coordinator (IT internal projects) to join our professional team.

Job purpose:
Manage assigned project of low complexity and/or size with up to 15 project members. Assure proper project deliverables in all aspects (budget/scope/schedule/quality) and at all stages – initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and control, closing. Assure proper technical vision and incorporating the best industry practices and resulting in high quality of deliverables.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and direct projects teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources.
• Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate. Ensure on-time project deliverables with required quality.
• Identify resources required for successful project execution (staff, hardware, infrastructure, etc). Drive resources fulfillment in cooperation with responsible service departments.
• Create and manage project budget in terms of units (hours or dollars) required to complete. Analyze and validate estimates.
• Work effectively with shared teams. Manage and assign individual tasks and responsibilities to direct reports.
• Effectively apply defined project management methodologies and enforce project standards.
• Manage day-to-day operational activities of a project.
• Report project status to stakeholders (including high-level status in regards to client, people and business development perspectives).
• Manage client expectations related to project. Monitor and increase client satisfaction. Facilitate client communications.
• Effectively utilize each project team member, ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each person career interests. Mitigate project team conflicts and communication problems.
• Participate in Project Management Office activities (trainings, consulting, programs, etc.)
• Provide technical direction for the analysis, design, construction, integration, deployment and configuration of the system developed. Establish clear understanding of client requirements mapped to system design.
• Design, build and test IT Solutions including complex components and in compliance with the defined engineering standards.
• Establish and regularly participate in reviews of team work products.
• Maintain technical specifications and supplementary project documentation in compliance with the changes in the system or its environment.
• Develop specifications and technological approaches for complex IT Solutions.
• Identify system and engineering process deficiencies, propose and implement solutions and process improvements.
• Work under minimal supervision and schedule own time to correspond to the overall development plan.

Education:
• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or similar
• Professional Project Management courses
• Customer Service Training (TBD)

Experience:
• 3 years (4500+ hours) of working on internal projects
• Proven success in team building/management
• Proven success as team player in previous position(s)
• Proven communicator/presenter
• Strong IT background

Specialized knowledge:
• Understanding of software development company functioning
• Understanding of ITIL practises
• Expert knowledge of industry recognized architectural patterns (Layering, MVC, SOA, Client-Server, etc)
• Expert knowledge of design, coding, unit testing, configuration management best practices
• Understanding of advanced RDBMS concepts and DB design approaches
• Understanding pros and cons of various design, coding, testing approaches
• Understanding of CMMI processes and agile methodologies
• Understanding of basic revenue models, profit/loss, and cost-to-completion projections
• Understanding of project/budget estimation techniques
• Understanding of project pricing model and billing procedures
• Proficiency in using Project Management tools
• Cross-cultural awareness
